Play together, each on your own phone

Join a room with a QR code, play with two to four people depending on the game, and see moves synchronise. Network interruptions allow 60 seconds to reconnect.

Natural gestures

Zoom with two fingers or the mouse wheel, then pan the enlarged board with one finger. Compatible pieces can be rotated and dragged into place.

01 — THE JOY OF PLAYING

A board.
A break.
A new game.

Start with a selection of free games, right in the app.

Choose a category, search for a name and open a board. Tiles or a detailed preview: the library puts the games first.

At your own pace

Choose your game and take time to work it out.

New discoveries

Additional games will be offered, some free and others paid.

02 — THE JOY OF CREATING

What if the rules
came from you?

Build a board, choose pieces and combine rules. Create, save and share; playing your creations will be part of full access.

01

Design the playing field

Square, triangular or hexagonal cells, rings and sectors: choose a shape, dimensions, colours and frame.

02

Build the rules

Place, move, jump, capture… Combine actions and decide what it takes to win.

03

Try. Refine. Share.

Test your creation against the computer. Keep it on your device and share its game definition by QR code or text.

Start with an empty board or a suggested template. Possible combinations depend on the rules supported by the workshop.

TRULY DIFFERENT GAMES

From chess to falling blocks.
From secret codes to awale seeds.

Strategy, deduction, chance, skill or puzzles: the games in the development version show the breadth of InZeBoard. Here are concrete examples of the game families the tool lets you explore.

Strategy & capture

Chess · Three- and four-player chess · Draughts · Xiangqi

Pieces with different moves, captures and an opponent to anticipate. Change the pieces, their moves or the goal to explore a different strategy.

Surrounding & flipping

Reversi

A single placement can flip several opposing pieces. Surrounding pieces and changing their side offer another way to take over the board.

Falling blocks

Arrange blocks as they fall

Pieces fall: move them, rotate them and complete lines. Timing and placement matter as much as thinking ahead.

Deduction & secret codes

Find a secret combination

Work out a hidden combination using the clues given after each attempt. A family built around information, hypotheses and logic.

Paths & dice

Backgammon

The dice set the possibilities; you choose the moves. Paths, blocking and bearing off pieces bring chance and strategy together.

Sowing & harvesting

Awalé · Kalah · Congkak

Take the seeds from one space, distribute them along the path and prepare your harvests. The mancala family puts quantities at the heart of the game.

Puzzles & transformations

Sliding puzzle · Towers of Hanoi

Slide tiles into an empty space or move discs between stacks. Find the sequence of moves that leads to the target arrangement.

Territories & connections

Go · Hex

Surround areas or connect the board’s edges. Placement rules give rise to very different goals and ways of thinking.

Assembly & tiling

Pieces covering several spaces · Triangular and hexagonal dominoes

Arrange shapes while respecting their contact rules. The geometry of the pieces becomes a rule in its own right.

Moving a knight, cracking a code, sowing seeds or guiding a falling piece: different kinds of gameplay brought together in one tool.

These examples are present in the development version and illustrate the tool’s possibilities. The families describe game mechanics, without announcing commercial titles for the final offering. The distributed selection, names and associated rights remain to be validated; some examples may be removed or adapted.

A FEW POINTERS

Before your
first game.

Can I download InZeBoard yet?

The product is in development. Download links and available platforms will be announced at release.

Can the workshop create any game?

It provides rule building blocks to combine. The possibilities depend on the supported mechanics; not every combination is available.

Where are my creations stored?

Your game definitions are saved on your device. Sharing by QR code or text lets you pass them on. This is not a saved game in progress.

Will all the games shown during development be included?

No. The examples explore what the workshop can do. The distributed selection, its names and access conditions are still being finalised.
